Discipline Policy
I look forward to this year and getting to know your child and how he/she learns. I strive to create a welcoming, nurturing, and caring classroom environment that will be conducive to learning. Learning is a lifelong process and I want to be a positive role model for your child. My job is to get your child ready for third grade and in order to accomplish this, he/she must be ready, willing and able to follow the rules and goals set for this new school year.
Classroom Rules and Consequences
Be Ready
• Follow adult directions the first time given
• Come to class with supplies
Be Responsible
• Complete all class assignments and homework
• Clean up after yourself
Be Respectful
• Stay in your space
• Be kind to others with your actions and words.
Consequences
Up to 10 minutes of recess will be taken away, a note or phone call to parent, and/or discipline referral to administrator’s office.
