What would you do with 3,200,000 bricks?

Would you build a large, fancy home?  How about a historical monument?  Or would you build something else, like maybe a church?

In 1909, four Indiana businessmen-- Carl Fisher, James Allison, Frank Wheeler and Arthur Newby--  built what could now be called all three!  Faced with a crumbling and dangerous racetrack, these men imported over three million paving bricks to create the most famous home of motorsports; the monument to speed; and what racing enthusiasts call the church of American auto racing-- Indianapolis Motor Speedway!

Now what does that have to do with being in this class?  A lot.  Like the Indianapolis Motors Speedway, you, too, are on a special track.   You have chosen to be a part of this program, therefore it will be my job to provide you with the bricks in which you can build your own success.

So buckle up, because my theme and challenge to you is this--

DO YOU HAVE THE DRIVE TO SUCCEED?

CAN YOU FINISH STRONG?
