Skills taught: recognize, write, and identify alphabet letters, rhyme, identify beginning sounds

Ideas for home:
keep a journal if your child isn't ready to write, have them just draw pictures and tell you about it

label things and places around the house with post its
child can make a list for the store with pictures/words

play I SPY,  for letter names , colors, and numbers
make a book with pictures/words

identify letters in alphabet soup

find letters while driving in the car
