Good Morning and Good First Day of School !
Wow, what can I say. We have all experienced something that none of us could ever have imagined.
Our lives have been turned upside down.
Well, I'm here to say that I believe that this is truly the beginning of a way back to living our lives once again.
Additionally, I reject the notion that this is the "new normal". Rather I believe this is just the
"current abnormal".
Our shool district has gone to great pains to make sure this first vitual day of school is going
to be the very best it can be. Our technology is ready to handle the load and I have to give
a special shout out to Mr. Ogbin who has led the charge in making this all work.
I understand that this is not the optimal method of learning. Students need the interaction
with their peers but I'm confident this is a temporary situation and we will soon be returning to
"in-person" learning.
Further, let me assure you that I am committed to giving my students the very best effort
that I am capable of. I have spent much of the summer in preperation for this very moment.
Now, by next week you will find links to math activities which will be attached to this website in the event of a glitch in the
virtual platform and these links will allow your student to continue their studies.
I want you all to bring a positive attitude to class and be the very best you can be......I have no doubt it will happen.
