This website has homework, events, and assignments posted for Ms. Little's students.  

The 'Homework & Events' link should be checked daily, especially on missed school days (absent or excused).


Grades are based on the following percentages:
70% Tests, Projects, Quizzes and Quarterly Exams
30% Labs and Classwork


A.M. Tutoring is available every morning for Environmental Science with me!

Attendance: Student attendance is crucial.  If you are absent (excused or sick), students will be responsible to check this website.  Upon your return, speak to Ms. Little about work you have missed, also turn in any homework or assignments THE DAY OF YOUR RETURN. 

Materials Needed Daily:
Textbook (covered), 3 ring binder, pencil, blue or black pen, pencil, highlighter, calculator and a folder.  PENCILS and calculator must be brought to class daily.  I will no longer provide pencils and calculators for students. 

Rules and Responsiblities: All school rules apply (lates, cuts, dress code, etc) as well as what was discussed in class and posted in classroom.  Students are expected to be respectful at all times.  Students should arrive to class on time and prepared.  Lateness will not be tolerated.  Class will be begin at the bell, daily assignments are posted on the front white board in room 313.

   Class Rules: 1) Be on time 

                          2) Be an active learner every day 

                          3) Be respectful to yourself and others always

                          4) Keep a positive attitude


Homework and Class Participation: Homework will be given most days of the week.  Homework assignments will not be given a numerical grade, but will be graded as complete or incomplete.  Homework is due the next school day.  Homework assignments will be tallied at the end of each marking period for a grade.  Acceptance of late assignments is at my discretion. Students are responsible for any work missed on days out of class.  Class work grades are based on written work, class participation/discussion, being prepared for class (textbook/notebook/pen or pencil) and proper classroom behavior.
 
Plagiarism:While you are encouraged to work together, you are responsible for your own work and assignment that will be turned in.  Students that have copied someone's work, will receive a ZERO on that assignment or test.
