I would like to welcome our students and parents to our 2020-21 school year.
My name is Darrick Smoke and I am a Liberty County native who attended
Bradwell Institute and graduated as the Class of 1990. I attended Georgia Southern
University and returned home to my very own school system. Education has been
my life as I have been in education for the last 26 years teaching public school, as well
as instructing for Georgia Southern University for the past 20 years. My wife, Sophia, is
also an educator at Liberty County High School, our cross town rival. We have two wonderful

We are looking forward to our virtual experience with our major platform
being Canvas. We will update announcements daily which will aid as a
reminder of events to come. With all being said, let us have a great school year,
