The overall mission of the physical educator is to help all students enjoy and learn about physical activity, in accordance with the National Standards Guidelines, so that they will continue to be active for the rest of their lives.
MMS Physical Education Departments Objectives:
LOCKER ROOM & GYM RULES
Every student must dress out daily in school colors. They will have 5 minutes before and after class to change. Proper footwear is essential for the safety of our student's. All articles of P.E. clothing should have the student's name written on the item with permanent marker. For safety reasons, jewelry (big earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, rings) are not permitted.
REQUIRED MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES
Every student will be required to change into their required uniform daily.
1. PE Uniform- T-shirt, shorts (fingertip length) or sweatpants…NO JEANS (denim)
2. Shoes - sturdy laced up tennis shoes.....NO BACKLESS, BOOTS, PLATFORMS, SANDALS
3. PE Portfolio folder, Health folder, pencil, pen, paper
