Welcome to Mrs. Mikkelsen's Room
Students:
Wow, it's hard to believe the first quarter of school is over! Don't forget that there are many ways to practice reading and math over the holidays.
One great way is to help Mom, Dad or Grandma in the kitchen. You can read the recipe out loud and also make some measurement conversions. How many teaspoons are there in a tablespoon? Write down the answer, bring it to me, and you'll get a BEE BUCK!
Reading the newspaper or special magazines are also great ways to increase your reading skills.
Parents: Have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving and remember: reading to your child is just as important as having them read to you. Please feel free to call me at the school if you have questions or concerns about your child's Individualized Education Plan. You can reach me by phone at 239-543-3663 or email cynthialm2@leeschools.net
Dont forget to...Work Hard and Be Kind
