Reading
1. The fiction story we will read is called "Goin' Someplace Special" and the skill is character and plot development.


  Vocabulary
Vocabulary words for this week are: scald, permission, authograph, fare, blurted, clenced, chiseled & spectacular.  There will also be words using the prefix il, im & ir.  Homework:  student-created test due Thursday.

Language Arts
 Students will be studying prounouns with antecedents and will have homework practicing this skill Monday - Wednesday nights.

Spelling
Words with a final unaccented  syllable will be the objective for spelling this week.  Homework will be Monday-Wednesday nights with the spelling quiz on Thursday.


Social Studies
We will review events leading up to the American Revolution.
