**Featured Student**
Becca Boyce
Becca was chosen to participate in HOBY.
HOBY stands for Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership.
"They do not teach you what to think,
but how to think."
This event is held at Monmouth University. A total of 260 students throughout the state come together for this wonderful learning experience.
How it Works: Typically every school in New Jersey sends 1-2 student representatives to be a part of this leadership seminar weekend. The student travels to Monmouth University in June to spend a weekend (Friday-Sunday) interacting with other students and learning how to become a great leader.
Seminar topics include: "Being a Leader", "How to Volunteer", "How to Apply to Colleges", "Media", and "Politicians."
Thank you Becca for sharing your experience with us!!
