HOMEWORK
Homework will be assigned nightly, with the exception of Fridays.  Homework may be assigned on Friday if the student has any incomplete assignments from the week, or if the need arises. 

Each student will be required to participate in the school’s Reading Rocks program.  This requires the student to read for thirty minutes each night.  The reading is then documented on the form provided by the school.  Reading Rocks will count as a homework grade. 

In addition, students will be assigned nightly spelling and math homework, with science being assigned as needed. 

All assigned homework is to be returned the following morning.   

The deadline for late or missing work is the Monday following Friday reports.

GRADING
Grades are earned by combining class work, test grades, and homework.

The grading scale is as follows:

90-100..........A

80-89............B

70-79............C

60-69............D

0-59..............F
