 Welcome to Ms. Hilario and Ms. Lusch's Web Page!

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year!

Parents, please remember to stop by the school to pick up your child's workbooks. They will need these materials starting next week.

Also, please remember to have the following supplies at home for your child:
* 4 marble notebooks (1 for each subject - reading, math, writing, social studies)
* pencils
* crayons
* 1 folder

If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected] and [email protected]

Thanks!

Please remember to check your child’s planner and homework folder daily. Please note that homework accounts for part of every student's grade.  The folder contains homework assignments as well as graded papers and important notices for you to read/sign. It  also contains a monthly calendar page regarding your child’s color on the green team/color chart. The planner is the most up-to-date way of communicating homework assignments.

During the 3rd Quarter, gym is on Monday and Thursday.

We would also like to share some guidelines for classroom birthday celebrations. We have 26 children in our class. Please make sure to send enough treats for every child. If you would like to send in cupcakes or treats on the morning of your child's birthday, please make sure they are dropped off before 11:15am. Those treats will be given out at rest time/recess. We ask that no invitations be sent into school for a separate celebration unless there is an invitation for every child, in order to avoid hurt feelings.

We ask that you provide your child with a daily, healthy snack (no soda, candy, etc.). We have an intense curriculum, and we stop to fuel our brains with a short, five minute snack each day. We ask that you do not send in anything containing peanuts or peanut butter due to allergy concerns.

Scholastic Book orders will be sent home soon! Keep an eye out for them.

Thank you for all your support! A strong home-school connection is the key to a successful student. Feel free to contact us via e-mail at [email protected] and [email protected].
