WELCOME TO MR. RAFTER'S WEBSITE.
About Mr. Rafter.
Mr. Rafter holds a Bachelors degree in Music Education: Instrumental and a Bachelors in Education from Rowan University. In June 2012 Mr. Rafter will start in the graduate program at Kent State University and work towards obtaining his Masters degree in Music Education. Mr Rafter currently teaches grades 1st through 8th at Fairfield Township School in Bridgeton NJ. He not only teaches general music but also directs a choir for grades 5-8 and conducts instrumental lessons / band for grades 4-8.
Mr. Rafter is also involved with South Jersey Band and Orchestra Directors Association (SJBODA). In 2011 Mr. Rafter was one of the managers for the All-South Jersey Symphonic Band and in 2012 he managed the All-South Jersey Wind Ensemble under the direction of Dr. James Stamp. In May 2011 Mr. Rafter had the privilege to conduct the Red Band for the South Jersey Elementary Honors Ensemble.
Since 2008 during the Fall marching band season Mr. Rafter works for the Delsea Regional High School Marching band as an Assistant Marching Band Director / Brass Tech.
