Thank you for stopping by my website!  I am excited about what this new year has for the Grace Band and Choir programs.  This website will have some helpful documents, links, and other information on the performance ensembles here at Grace.
I started singing when I was 4 years old and started in band in 6th grade in Atlanta, GA.  I played the trumpet for most of middle school and then switched to percussion in high school, while singing in church and community choirs.  I graduated from Asbury College with a Bachelor's degree in Percussion and went right to graduate school at Eastern Kentucky University, where I received a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting and a Master of Arts in Teaching.  I have lived in the Houston area for 5 years and I taught in Katy ISD before coming to Grace.  I also currently teach the Houston Christian High School Drumline and private percussion lessons. My wife Allison is a band director as well and we live in Katy with our two mischievous dachshunds, Chile and Won Ton, and one monstrous Great Dane, Minnie.
