Biography

My name is Pat Runkel and this is my 21st year to teach first grade at Grace School.  It's exciting when I hear from former students and find out about the colleges they're  attending and the exciting careers that many of them are pursuing.  First grade is such an important year.  The children grow tremendously in their reading, writing, and math skills.  How blessed I am to be a part of your child's life!

Both of my children graduated from Grace as did my daughter-in-law!  In fact, both my son, Blake, and my daughter, Amy, started at Grace in Early Childhood.  My husband, Dale, and I have 2 grandchildren.  Marisa is in   Mrs. Hill's 4th grade.  She started at Grace at the age of 3 months!  Our grandson, Max Robert Runkel, turned 1 on June 4th.
