Grading:
Each nine weeks, grades will consist of the following:

Class work 30%
Tests 40%
Quiz 20%
Homework 10%
Grading Scale:
Generally, numeric grades are assigned as follows:
90-100 = A
80-89 = B
70-79 = C
Below 70 = F
Classroom Materials:
Textbook: My Perspectives English Language Arts Grade 8 (Book can be ascess through Parent/student portal)
Classwork: Google Classroom (Please check your child's progress on a regular basis).
Interactive Notebook (ILAN) Please check the notebook on a regular basis.
Tutoring is offered to students upon request on Tuesday's and Thursday's or after school.
