Mission Statement of Home and School

The mission of the Leonia Home and School Association is to:

• Support and enhance public education in Leonia through fundraising and involvement.
• Bring into closer relation the home and the school, so that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.
• Develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental and social education.

The evidence is now beyond dispute. When parents are involved in their children's education at home, their children do better in school.
