Welcome to the new Alpine Elementary School Library website!
***STARTING IN JUNE***
Students will continue to visit the library for class and reading but will not be checking out books. The circulation of our library's books will stop in order for missing book notices to be sent home, lost books to be paid for or replaced, and final inventory to be completed.
If your child's book has been lost, please see the tab on the side for proper procedures.

Our School Library is in need of...
LIBRARY VOLUNTEERS
For the 2013-2014 School Year
Job Description: I am looking for parent volunteers available to work one morning of the week. Job included checking books in at the beginning of the class, putting books away on the shelves, running reports for missing books, and checking books out for students at the end of their Library Class.

1. Disinfectant Wipes of any kind please.
2. Disinfecting Spray
Help keep your children and fellow classmates healthy through the school year!
*Students can come and bring these in to the Library in the morning.

Book Check Out
First and Second graders are allowed to check out 1 book each week.
Third graders are allowed to check out 2 books each week.
If your child's book is not returned by the day of their Library class...
First graders will be allowed to check out one additional book for the week but will not be allowed to check out another until both books checked out have been returned or paid for.
Second graders will not be allowed to check out another book until the book checked out has been returned or paid for.
