Week #28     Week of 03-19-12

I hope you enjoyed last week's spring break, it was perfect.

Classwork - Our customer has asked for several changes on their web site and we discussed creating an advertising campain to introduce their business to the sports-oriented families using the soccer fields that are nearby.

I would like you to start a new classwork project to design a flyer for our customer that will include a Quick Response code. As designers you will want to use a variety of promotions to help your customer sell more products.

Please create a one page flyer in Word promotion specail offers at the restaraunt. You can use things like buy one get one free, free drink with meal, free desert, etc. Make the flyer attractive and eye catching and include their address and your special promotion. Also include a QR code to their web site and encourage the customer to scan the code for an extra promotion.

Save the file as your last name, first name QR code flyer project and drop it into the QR code marketing flyer drop box.

Homework - please look through old newspapers and magazines to find QR codes to school appropriate product. The goal is to see how they use the QR codes to promote their sales items. Cut out three pages from three different publications and staple them to a piece of notebook paper with your name, grade, period and date. They are due your next class so don't forget to turn them in.
