Week of 05-07-12
We have some very good news for you. The hosting service computer is working well and we have created a new account on the server for everyone who has turned in their server usage form.
Also, Adobe officially released version 6 of the Creative Suite this morning. It is a huge download but if your thumb drive has eight gigs of space or more I can give you a copy of it. It has many new features that will make your design work easier. The new Master Collection has been loaded onto a few of our computers so do try out the new software when you can.
The work for this week will be to create a three page website titles "Teaching and Learning". Use your server account and create a new site that has the elements shown in the attached file. I will give you a sample of what our customers would like to have.
Please create a new site called Teaching & Learning with a fixed header and footer and two columns liquid arrangement. Save it to your internet hosting site and have the basic design done this week.

Finally, this is the next to last week of school. Seniors need to have passed at least the Adobe Photoshop CS3 exam with Dreamweaver also being highly desired for anyone in Web 2 or Web 3. Look at the video study guide to help jog your mind about the material for the questions. Any senior who passes the required Adobe exams this week are exempt from the final project and will get double credit - 300 points for the project and 300 points for the exam grade plus a 100 on the final exam.
