My name is Coach Bob Sloman and I am entering my fourth year as a part of The Pirate Nation here at The River.  This will also be the start of my seventh year teaching.  I am very excited to be able to work with my students in their Learning Strategies classes.  I am also the Head Wrestling Coach.

I am originally from the small town of East Berlin, PA and graduated from Bermudian Springs High School in June, 2000.  After high school I moved to Florida for college.  I completed my Bachelor's Degree at The Florida State University in December, 2005.  I have also completed my Master's Degree in August, 2011; from the University of Scranton.

I am happily married to my wife, Vanessa; who teaches second grade for the school district.
