Singing is my passion, and I am so happy to offer a beginner chorus as a 5th grade class AND an after-school studio for grades 3rd and 4th Graders!

 

 

 

 

FALL CONCERT ASSEMBLY:

 

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 6th at 1:30pm

 

 

 

FALL EVENING CONCERT:

 

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 6TH at 7pm

 

3rd and 4th grade arrival: 6:30 in Ms. Loomis' room

5th grade arrival: 6:15 in the mezzanine

with your instruments!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

CONCERT DRESS:

 

 

 

Concert Dress: Please note that concert dress is mandated for all students for all performances. Choruses typically wear white tops to brighten their faces, and all black on the bottom. All black bottoms and black stockings serve as a distraction deterrent so that the audience is drawn to watch the singers’ faces. Please remember that a concert is a formal setting, and our goal is to look uniform and professional.

Ladies: •Black dress pants/slacks (NO jeans, capris, leggings, or "skinny" pants of any kind)

 

 

 

OR

 

 

 

• Black skirt (standard, approved CPS length) WITH BLACK pantyhose or tights (NOT nude/skin tone/leggings/NO Bare legs)

 

 

 

WITH

 

 

 

•White, buttoned-down collared blouse (NO tank tops or bare shoulders)

 

 

 

AND

 

 

 

•Black shoes (NO sneakers, sandals, open-toed shoes, or high heels)

 

 

 

•Ladies are also asked to pull their hair back, and away from their faces.

CAROLINA PLACE MALL FIELD TRIP

Students leave CPS via bus at 9:45am

We are performing at the FOOD COURT at 11am and 1:30pm

Your child will also have the opportunity to perform at events throughout the Charlotte community.  (Events and times TBA)
