Welcome to the wonderful world of Mathematics! My name is Danny Helms and this is my 5th year to work in the Manila School District. I am also a Part-time Pastor at Etowah Baptist Church. I have been married for almost 9 years to my beautiful wife, LeAnn (better known as Mrs. Helms), and I have a 4 1/2 year old daughter, Chloe. I have now added another title to my name this year. I am co-teaching one class this year with Mrs. Braden to teach 8th grade Language Arts and I have also been added to the Manila Football coaching staff as one of the assistant coaches. 

After graduating from East Poinsett County High School, I attended Arkansas Northeastern College to receive my Associates of Arts Degree. I had the privilege of being a part of the different choirs that ANC provided during my time there. (Great way to paying for college if planning on attending ANC in the future) I went on from there to attend the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where I received my Bachelors of Science in Education Degree in Adult Vocational Education. After receiving my Bachelors, I went on to attend Union University in Germantown, TN to receive my Masters of Christian Studies.

I enjoy being a part of the Manila family and look forward to teaching your children and helping them further their education.
