Each day, all students begin on "the paw". All 2nd graders are expected to follow the 4 main rules:
1. Do your best at all times.

2. Follow all directions promptly.

3. Keep hands, feet, and other objects to yourself.

4. Be responsible, respectful, and caring to yourself and
others.

If students receive a warning, and repeat a behavior that does not follow the rules, their paw color changes to GREEN.

If a student continues to have difficulties, their paw color changes to YELLOW. They may need to have a classroom time-out, write a reflection about their behavior and a note may be sent home in the binder.

A red paw means that a student has continued to not follow the rules and directions. This may lead to a time-out in another classroom, an office referral and a phone call/note home.
