Dear Incoming Second Grader,
Hi! My name is Mrs. Bochicchio and I am SO excited to be your teacher for second grade. I cannot wait to meet you and learn all about you. To tell you a little about myself, this will be my 12th year working at Canfield! I love spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy playing sports, coaching, cleaning and going to the beach! I really hope you are making the most of this beautiful summer so far, I know I am.
To think in only a few short weeks, we will be working together every day! We will be having tons of fun learning how to become even better readers and writers, how to solve 2 and 3-digit math problems and even multiply! You will get the chance to be scientists and discover about Matter, Rocks, Plants and Insects. In Social Studies you will learn all about the government, what it means to be a producer and consumer and so much more! I’m getting excited just thinking about it!
I hope you and your family have been cherishing the time together. Enjoy what is left of your summer and I will see you soon. Get ready to laugh, learn, experience new things and GROW into super smart and special second graders!!
