Math Information 

 

New Retention Information!!!!! 

Please refer to the NEW BBOED policy on

passing Math for the year.  

 

Students who are identified as failing Mathematics in grades 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8 after any progress report or report card are recommended to attend a Mathematics support class with a teacher of Mathematics at his or her neighborhood school on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings. Students may exit the zero period support class if they earn a 78 or better on the next marking period report card. Students who fail to maintain regular attendance (65% of eligible classes) in the morning sessions will not be eligible for elementary Mathematics summer school and will be retained in grade if the students fail Mathematics for the school year.
