Welcome to 5th Grade Math!
This year in math we will be learning many new and exciting skills. The main units we will be focusing on are Numbers and Operations in Base Ten, Fractions, Measurement and Data, Operations and Algebraic Thinking, and Geometry. Key topics in 5th grade are understanding the place value system, performing operations with whole numbers, decimals and fractions and understanding volume concepts.
