Dear parents/guardians and students,

Welcome to the 2018-2019 Cecilia Junior High school year.  We are proud of our bulldog community’s dedicated staff, enthusiastic learners, and supportive parents/guardians!

The educational demands placed on students, teachers, and families is at an all-time high.  It is more important now than ever that we work together to insure that our students reach their potential, and to do so, we must be one big extended family.  It is everyone’s responsibility to empower children with the creative, intellectual, and decision-making skills necessary for them to become academically, socially, and emotionally successful and responsible citizens of the world.  Research clearly demonstrates that parent participation in their child’s school coincides with a greater likelihood of academic success for that child.

It is our desire to keep you informed of all that is taking place at school.  Information will be sent to you through a monthly events calendar and will appear on our school webpage and Facebook page.  If you have questions or concerns at any time, please do not hesitate to give your child’s teacher or me a call.  I look forward to having a long a rewarding relationship with you and your family.
