Welcome to Mrs. Atkinson's Homepage

This school year I am excited to be teaching 2nd grade.  This is my 5th year here at North Hamilton and my 11th year of teaching in Hamilton County. 

I graduated from Hamilton County High School in 1988.  I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Leo University in 1998 and my Masters of Education/Reading degree from Grand Canyon University in 2006.  I have taught at Lake City Kindergarten Center, Central Hamilton Elementary, Hamilton County High School and here at North Hamilton Elementary.  I am currently teaching education courses for Saint Leo University on the campus of North Florida Community College in Madison, FL.

I have been married to Rusty Atkinson, a correctional officer, for 22 years and we have two daughters.  Tracy is in her first semester at the University of Florida and Amy is in the 11th grade. 

I am looking forward to another great year at NHE!
