Geometry (periods 2, 3, 4, 6)--Covers concepts and applications of points, lines, planes, and angles; deductive and inductive reasoning; triangles; quadrilaterals; similar polygons; circles; area and volume formulas; graphing.   Students need to master each topic because they will be required to take an end-of-course state exam that covers this subject.  A graphing calculator is furnished.  (prerequisites:  Algebra B or Algebra 1)

Algebra II (period 5)--Covers properties and operations; linear equations and inequalilties; functions:  linear, quadratic, exponentional, radical, and polynomial; systems of equations; matrices and their operations; logarithms.  Students need to master each topic because they will be required to take an end-of-course state exam that covers this subject.  A graphing calculator is furnished.  (prerequisites:  Algebra B or Algebra I)
