WELCOME TO PRE-KINDERGARTEN!
I have been teaching Pre-Kindergarten in Bayonne since 2003. I absolutely love teaching the little ones. I graduated from Montclair State University. I hold both Preschool through Grade 3 and Kindergarten through Grade 8 teaching certificates. The children are signing in each day and starting to write some letters of their names. Remember, however they write is fine, they are just starting out. They can practice at home as well. The children can practice zippering and unzippering their coats/jackets/bookbags as well. Don't forget the importance of washing hands......20 seconds each time!
The children have been adjusting to our classroom routine. Remember school starts at 8:40 a.m. and ends at 2:45 p.m. Our class will enter and exit the building through door #8. The children are enjoying each and every day at school.
Please remember to dress your child appropriately for the weather as the children will be going outside each day for outside time.
Please remember to check your child's folder each night for important papers, as well as the Mary J. Donohoe School Webpage for important upcoming events. You will find the digital backpack here as well.
*Please be sure your child has a lunch and snack each day. Your child may bring lunch from home or receive school lunch.
