Hello Third Graders and Parents,

Welcome to our class web page!  This is the place to stay informed about our class activities for the week and any important dates that may be upcoming for our school.  Please check in often to stay current on our 3rd grade class.  You may contact me at any time through this site if you should have any questions about your child's progress or homework.  I check my e-mail often.  Communication is the key to a successful 3rd grade year. 

I have been teaching here at North Hamilton Elementary for 18 years.  I have taught 3rd grade for 14 years, 2nd grade for 3 years and Pre-K for one year. 

I grew up in Hamilton County and attended North Hamilton and HCHS.  I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Valdosta State College in 1991. 

I am married to Tom Moffses from Madison and we have three children.  Tyler, Catherine and Taylor.  Tyler is a college student at the University of Florida.  Catherine is a 7th grader at HCHS and Taylor is in 4th grade here at NHE.

I have very high expectations for the students in my class.  Not only in academics, but also in behavior.  Please send your child to school prepared and ready to learn everyday.  I know every child in my classroom will succeed with the proper guidance from me, as a teacher and you, as a parent.  Let's work together for a successful year in 3rd grade.  Together we can make difference for your child!
