Hello Fifth Graders and Parents,

Welcome to our class web page!  This is the place to stay informed about our class activities for the week and any important dates that may be upcoming for our school.  Please check in often to stay current on our 5th grade class.  You may contact me at any time through this site if you should have any questions about your child's progress or homework.  I check my e-mail often.  Communication is the key to a successful 5th grade year. 

I am beginning my 26th year of teacher and I love to teach and watch my students learn and grow. 

I grew up in Hamilton County and attended North Hamilton and HCHS.  I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Valdosta State College in 1991. 

I am married to Tom Moffses from Madison and we have three children.  Tyler, Catherine and Taylor.  Tyler works at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida,  Catherine attends Valencia College in Orlando and works at Disney World and Taylor is a Senior at HCHS.  

I have very high expectations for the students in my class.  Not only in academics, but also in behavior.  Please send your child to school prepared and ready to learn everyday.  I know every child in my classroom will succeed with the proper guidance from me, as a teacher and you, as a parent.  Let's work together for a successful year in 5th grade.  Together we can make difference for your child!
