You are invited to join us at anytime. My door is open(room 1110) to anyone who would like to sit in on a lecture,participate in a group activity or visit during a lab to see what your child is learning. The purpose of this course is to provide opportunities to study the concepts of life processes, including cell and tissue structure and function, the genetic basis of evolution, and the evolutionary and ecological relationships, aspects of animal orgainzation that unite major animal phyla, and animal adaptations. Students will understand their applications through exploratory investigations and activities.
I expect your child to attend class everyday and on time. To do his or her part in assuring a proper education. For this to happen we must behave and respect each other as well as ourselves.
I will be fair and impartial. Every student will be treated the same at all times. If warranted your child may be assigned detention or a referral for misconduct. I do try to make as many parent contacts as possible to keep you abreast of your childs behavior and assessment.
If your child is not responding to instruction as well as you would like or think they are in need of some one on one I do have tutoring available every week from 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. All I ask is that you let me know a day ahead of time that your child will be attending.
