Hello,
  My name is Monica Dailey and I am the school counselor at Crowley Kindergarten, as well as Central Rayne Kindergarten. I will be in Crowley on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week. On Thursday and Friday, I will be in Rayne. I have been a teacher in Acadia Parish for twenty-three years; however, this is my first year as a school counselor.

What does the school counselor do?
  I will present classroom lessons to the students so I can help them develop their social skills. I will also work with students on an individual basis as needed. Groups will be formed with about four students in a group so I can reach a larger number of students who are in need of services. Another job of the school counselor is to present information to the teachers and parents as needed.

  I will work with the faculty and staff of Crowley and Central Rayne Kindergarten to help all students be happy, healthy, and the best person they can be.
