  Each child in the Gifted Program  who is going to grades 4 or higher is required to read two books over the summer.
One of the books is required reading for all students going to the same grade in August, and the other book can be chosen from a list they were given.

In class, we talked about the packet that students will complete on the one book that everyone in a particular grade level reads. Students do not have to complete a packet on their second book. However, they will have a test on both books when they come back to school in August. I sent the parent letter, the list of books, and a packet for the required book home with the students. If a student misplaces his or her packet, you can click on the link  below to download the form for the required book.
