   Those who know me realize why computers and I are usually not mentioned in the same sentence!!  Throughout the year our class will be doing science and social studies based thematic units incorporating reading, math, and language skills identified in our frameworks.  Attendance is most important. 


  
There is homework every night.
 Please ask your child about nightly homework assignments.  Parent signature on the X_________ indicates your child has read the selection aloud and discussed it with you. 



Fall and spring Parent Teacher Conferences are manditory.  They offer an opportunity for us to discuss your child's progress.  As I stated in the first night's homework letter, if at any time you have a question that your child cannot answer, or if something just doesn't sound right , PLEASE send me a note and I will respond ASAP.  Students, parents and teachers working together can help your child achieve the fourth grade educational goals established by the state and federal government.  Thank you for supporting our efforts to provide the best learning opportunities.
