Welcome to Iota High School! I am very happy to be joining the staff of IHS. I look forward to a great year. The following are several ways for parents/guardians to stay informed about what's going on at Iota High and with your child. I hope parents will use these excellent tools:
1. School Calendar - events and deadlines
2. Teacher Web Pages - rules, expectations, supplies, homework and upcoming tests.
3. Parent Command Center - detailed grading report, attendance, and discipline.
4. Iota High Website - www.ihs.acadia.k12.la.us
In the very near future, we are adding one more way for parents to stay informed. We will be implementing a "call" system. In addition to the above ways of communication, IHS will be able to reach every parent, (or just a group of parents, ex.: a sports team or certain club members) with one phone call.
This Call System is ideal for delivering routine school messages, including attendance reports, low lunch balance alerts, and event reminders. We think this will be a great way to keep our parents/guardians informed.
