Welcome to Mrs. Terry's Second Grade Class Website!

We are so excited to have your student in class for this exciting school year. Please use this website as a resource throughout the year.  We will update the class calendar regularly to keep you updated on scheduled tests, field trips, school events, etc.  We have included bio's on Mrs. Terry and her Fall intern, Ms. Ewer.  Also, you can find our class daily schedules here!  Don't hesitate to contact us at any time.

Harvest Day at Newberry Elementary
This Thursday, October 29, is Harvest Day at Newberry Elementary.  We encourage all students to dress up as their favorite book character in order to participate in the school's Character Parade at 9am. We will then be having a classroom party in our classroom at 12:45 where we will play harvest and halloween themed games, do fun activities and eat treats!  Please contact our Room Mother, Holly McGlashan, if you would like to help, or have any questions.


IMPORTANT REMINDER:
Attention all parents:  We would like to encourage each of you to call or visit our front office to schedule a Parent/Teacher Conference on Thursday October 29.  We will be here from 2:00 until 7:30 pm for conferences.  If this date does not work for you, please contact Mrs. Terry to schedule a conference at a later time.  It is very important to us to be able to discuss your student's progress with you as this 9 week grading period comes to a close.


BREAKING NEWS: 
We are so proud and excited to announce our Second Grade Veteran's Day Program!  It will be held on November 9 at 8am at Newberry Elementary.  We hope you can be a part of this very special program.    Students will be working hard learning patriotic songs in Music and will be decorating their shirts in Art.
