Seventh Grade Reading

Welcome to seventh grade!!  I look forward to a wonderful school year.  I will be posting assignments on the calendar regularly to assist you in helping your child. 

I will be sending home a parent letter to introduce myself and give you important information.  There are several things I wanted to make sure you were aware of.  I follow the traditional grading scale.

90-100  A
89-80    B
79-70    C 
69-60    D
Anything below a 59 is a "F"

I use a grading website "engrade."  It is a confidential site that allows parents/guardians to have complete access to their students grades.  I will provide students with their individual login names and passwords the first week of school.

Students need to have the following materials:
3 ring binder
5 tabbed dividers
pen/pencil
paper
                                         flash drive     (This does not need to be large.  1 GB should be fine.  They can use this for all classes and throughout high school.  You can find them in almost any retail store like Walmart or even CVS.  Students will no longer be able to save documents and projects to a server.)
