Dear Parents,
I will be teaching Social Studies and Science. It is your child's responsibility to copy homework assignments daily from the board. These assignments include homework, projects, quizzes, and test dates.
Weekly tests are given on Friday. Quizzes and worksheets may be given at anytime on skills covered in class. These will be used as test grades. Your child will be made aware of a quiz in advance. Please check your child's homework assignment notebook daily for important class assignments, quizzes, and test dates. Thank you for your cooperation and support.
Science is a subject that requires critical thinking, reading and studying.
All science classes build on prior experiences. It is required of all students to study and keep up with assignments, study guides and projects.
I expect all students to come to class with their materials. - pencils, paper/notebooks
A = 93 – 100
B = 86 – 92
C = 78 – 85
D = 70 – 77
F = 69 and below
Progress reports will go home Thursday and are to be signed and returned on Friday.
