A Teachers' Prayer:
Lord, Please help me to strenghten their voices, bodies, and minds,
To express their feelings and control them sometimes,
To explore what's near and venture afar,
But most important to love and accept who they are.
Welcome students and parents to a new and very different school year. We are in trying times facing a pandemic in the midst to educate young minds. But, it can and will be done. We need your assistance now more than ever.
Your child will receive an educational program that outlines the goals, objectives, and instructional strategies in his/her Individualized Educational Plan. It is my sincere desire to provide your child with the best opportunity to succeed. I won't be able to do it alone, so I am going to need your help encouraging your child to do his/her best each day.
At home, it is very important for your child to read to you every day. Library books, all types of written text all stimulate your child's curiosity for the written word, and show him or her that reading is an important part of your day as well. If there are questions or concerns please feel free to contact me by phone, email, or letter.
