WELCOME to Mrs. Harris' art classes at Neville High School! We are going to have a good year experiencing the world of visual art.

All art classes will begin the year developing basic drawing skills with an emphasis on the Elements and Principles of Design. This includes the use of line, shape, form, and color to create pleasing works of art in a variety of media. Some classes will study various folk art crafts from around the world while others explore more advanced skills in drawing and painting. All students will be able to see how art and artists have influenced our lives today. Each student will aspire to build on their basic knowledge and step to a higher level of artistic skill.
