Welcome to my website.
I am E. Jeanette Young. I teach Reading and Speech courses through the English department at Carroll High School. I have been teaching here for the last ten years. In the 70s, I received my B.S. degree from Grambling State University. But, I re-certified, earned certifications in English, and earned 18 hours of credit toward my masters degree at the University of Louisiana in Monroe.
We, at Carroll, are trying to encourage all students to prepare for college even though college might not be in their future plans. Either way,we encourage students to help them make better grades and become better citizens.

I am available for conferences during my planning period each day from 7:35-8:20 P.M. Should you need to make special arrangements for a conference please call and set up an appointment through our counselors.
