First of all parents, thank you! Thank you so much for entrusting your children to us each day. This means that you trust us to love and care for your children each day as if they were our own. This means the world to me. It was with saddened hearts, this past Friday, as we dismissed school until at least April 14, 2020. I do believe that it was a choice made in the best interest of all students, faculty, and staff, by our governor, Mr. John Bel Edwards.
We at MJ Foster are here to support you through this time. Uploaded to teacher web pages will be links to enrichment for all grades. If you would prefer print materials, you may come to the school, Monday- Thursday from 9 am until 1 pm.
We will also serve breakfast and lunch, in a grab and go style, each day ( Monday- Friday ) from 10:30 am until 12:00 pm There is no need for you to leave your car, we will serve you curbside! Students do not need to be present. Meals are for children 18 years old and younger. They do NOT need to attend Madison Foster. They may attend ANY school and still recieve food. They do not even have to be school aged.
I pray that each of your families are safe from harm during this pandemic. I hope that you are taking all necessary precautions to remain healthy. If there is any question or concern, I can be reached at the school. As always, keep SOARing like Falcons!
