"The mission of the library media program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information." Information Power
We serve all students and staff at MHS, PreK through 12th grades.
Our print resources include fiction and non-fiction books,
reference book collection, magazines, and newspapers.
The library also distributes textbooks to students grades 6-12.
Our Internet-accessible lab includes 28 student computers
with various research database resources, word processing programs,
and the Accelerated Reader program.
Students in grades PreK through 5 visit the library once a week
to check out books and participate in various library activities.
Junior high and high school students visit the library to complete
class assignments, to check out AR books and books for pleasure reading,
to read magazines and newspapers,
and to research for many different subjects.
The library is open to junior high and high school students
during their lunch time each day.
