We have just finished the fourth six weeks! 
This  period we studied adjectives , adverbs and capitolization  and  punctuation.   We also wrote an opinion essay and  reviewed it for revisions.
We will review Monday and take the six weeks test Tuesday.  Our Mardi Gras Parade of Famous African American Achievers will be Thursday February 25th.  Students have picked partners, decided on their famous person and started their floats.  Ask you child for the directions and grading rubric.  Please encourage you child to use the report form and not just copy material from a book or the internet.  If you can give any assistance at home or at school it will be greatly appreciated.   As always, call if  you have any concerns.   Please don't forget students need pencils and a grammar workbook to do their homework.
