If your child wishes to participate in valentine giving and

receiving during our party on Feb. 11, please make sure

there is a card for everyone in the class.

BRAINPOP and BRAINPOP JR  also have segments that may help your child's understanding:  BRAINPOP JR has two helpful segments:  Changing States of Matter, and Solids, Liquids, and Gases.  However, these are very basic and do not cover physical and chemical changes which are the primary focus of Chapter 11.  BRAINPOP has many segments but they are often a little too detailed for third grade.  However, try these:
