Washington DC: CAN Week

CAN stands for the Children's Action Network and is an event that takes place each year in which CEC special educators from around the country gather in Washington DC and speak with members of Congress about special education. We are arranging a performance with our full ensemble in DC in April of 2012. We are in the process of setting up a performance on the White House Lawn and again in front of the Capitol building in DC. During our visit with Lyndon White II and Lina Cloutier, we visited Senator Harkin, Senator Nelson and Senator Rubio. Here are some additional pictures of our visit:
