It's a New School Year!

 

What an exciting time of year!  New school supplies and new classrooms.  Perhaps a new outfit or shoes.  The anticipation of new teachers, new friends and new learning. 

I am so excited for the start of the new school year.  It is very exciting that I will have my wonderful students from last year and some new students as well.  I have been busy getting acquainted with the 5th grade language arts materials.  I can't wait to read all the new stories in our books and, especially, to read all the wonderful things you write!

As usual, your homework and other important school information will be available on this website.  I will be adding links as the year progresses. 

Please arrive at school by 8:20 on September 2.  Have your supplies with you.  We will be going over rules and schedules and so much other fun stuff the first day! 

Remember - It's a new year.  We all get a fresh start to reach our goals, make new friends, and learn all that we can!  Get ready, because together, we are going to have such fun!
